Hello, I'm Rach

I started Mindful Makes because crochet gave me something I couldn't find anywhere else: a reason to slow down.

There's something about the rhythm of a hook and yarn that quietens a busy mind. You can't scroll while you crochet. You just make, one stitch at a time, and at the end there's something real in your hands that you made yourself.

I teach small, friendly workshops around Chorley, Leyland and Bamber Bridge, from complete beginners' classes to themed courses, kids' sessions and our monthly Crochet, Books & Bakes Club. My new studio is at Charnock Farm, Chorley.

Lots of the people who come to my workshops have never held a hook before. If that's you, you're very welcome. I'll show you everything, and nobody minds if it takes a few goes.
